Can anyone explain if a Wii memorizes everything you´re doing?

Like when you play a game via disc channel or USB loader and VC and WiiWare...

Does a Wii "remember" what and when you do it and how does it "remember"?

I am asking because I got a 2007 Wii and I checked the calender and there are only a couple of hours noticed, some Wii Sports, Wii Play, Mario Party 8, NFS Carbon... all together about 20 hours(few hours in december 07, some in january 08...) in common, I asked the guy I got it from and he stated that it was barely used so I thought ask in the forums...

Everytime you play a game or launch a channel, your Wii will record the date and the time you spent on it. It is also possible to delete the data by formatting your Wii system.

The date and the time spent on homebrew applications using the HBC will not be recorded.

Yeah, thanks guys, the Wii has never been formatted and it was virgin when I got it so I guess the guy didnt play a lot with it...

Makes me having a like new Wii where BootMii can be installed as boot2. Nice!

Actually whatever you launch from the channel menu is recorded as being "played". Since I have a forwarder for SD/USB Loader setup, mine is recorded as "HD Loader", and the time is indeed accurate.

Same goes for ordinary DVD games launched from disc channel, right?

Thanks for answering my questions guys!
