Hacking Quick downgrade question

Hey guys, have a vita with 3.68 that I bought used. Have seen that you can only downgrade if the vita has had a lower firmware already installed on it on a previous occasion. I just need to know

Is there any way to check if this vita fits that criteria?


If not, will trying to downgrade and undowngradable vita brick it?

Modoru will not let you downgrade to a too low version (and the minimum is only determined by whatever the factory set it to, based on an arbitrary mix of "actual hardware requirements" and "just for the lulz")

NAAAAA, just install the h encore and then the modoru to downgrade, i think is the name. No need it. No brink risk, so easy. Just download the official firmware, i recommend 3.60, plain and simple.
