Hacking Quick cMIOS question

Hey, I've been looking into getting GC backups working on my Wii (Gamecube controllers just arrived from eBay

)

I've looked around for a definite answer for a while now but I can't seem to find one:

Which cMIOS should I go with to play disc backups? Waninkoko's cMIOS v5 or WiiGator's GC MIOS Patcher 0.2?

What are the main (if any) differences between the two, and are there any compatibility issues?

I'd prefer the second one. The Waninkoko's cMIOS, according to WiiPower, has a bug that makes it incompatible with the NeoGamma, specifically with the internal mode (embedded GCN Backup Launcher) and the loading of GC homebrew (using external mode). You can also try the cMIOS Installer by WiiPower.
