What's the status on the emulation of Playstation games?
PSX, PSP, PS2, I don't really care, I just want to play some.
So is there anyone working on this and if so, how far are we?
Thanks in advance!

That's a bloody shame, I really think it would be a huge hit if someone released it,
PSP would've been really awesome, I;ll just have to search eBay then

The PSP would've been possible, had Daedalus PSP continued development.

How would this help with emulating PSP on the Wii?

If anyone would have an interest or the capability, it would be the developers that have been working on emulating the PSP for four years now...

Isn't Daedalus a N64 emulator that has been ported to the PSP?
Is there a PSP emulator with the same name?

Correct.

The PSP Player is a PSP emulator, but the Daedalus team could pull it off.

OK, so which team has been working on emulating the PSP for four years and how are they connected to Daedalus..?
The only two PSP emulators I know of seem to have no connection to Daedalus.

Or are you just saying that because one group of people (I think it's mainly "StrmnNrmn" who's Daedalus' original author [afaik]) were able to port an emulator to PSP that they would be able to make a PSP emulator for the Wii?

People seem to think that you can emulate anything on anything else that is more "powerful" but unless StrmnNrmn and co have ever said anything about emulating the PSP on any platform why would one expect them to be the ones to do it?

Well, to be honest, it doesn't seem like anyone else is taking strides in the PSP homebrew department.

Out of the homebrew that has come out, they've shown the most interest.

Since there isn't even a decent PSP emulator for the PC, it doesn't seem like anyone else cares or would bother to make the effort.
