Is there a way that I can transfer retail games to my sd card so I won't need the cartridge to play the game? I don't really care if I do it with Homebrew or something else.

You can dump your cartidge to a cia with Gateway and install it.

Do you have any cfw installed? There are a lot of ways to do this. I recommend installing a9lh and downloading the games via freeshop.
