Hardware Question: what encoding method does Oneguide use?

So, if you pay attention to the insiders page (and subreddit) you will know that microsoft is allowing us to broadcast anything that is not I'm hevc encoding (netflix, youtube, etc.) Does oneguide fall into this category? Because if it doesn't, we could be able to use our console as capture cards... Which would be awesome....
