Hello everyone!

I have a new 3ds with SysNAND 9.2 and EmuNAND 9.2.
I have setup CtrBootManager to boot into either Rxtools or THL.
I would like to update my EmuNAND to 9.5 but I don't know if by coldbooting straight into THL and using SysUpdater it will update my SysNAND or my EmuNAND.

Thanks in advance for your help!

You can update emuNAND to 10.3 now if you use ReiNand.

Thanks for your reply @Quantumcat

I already know that Reinand supports EmuNAND 10.3 but I don't want to use it for now, I prefer Rxtools.
Sorry but you didn't answer my question. I want to know if I can update my EmuNAND directly by booting into THL (The Homebrew Launcher) or if I have to install SysUpdater.cia into my EmuNAND and update it from there? Sorry if it's not clear enough.

I hope someone can help me, I don't want to brick my 3ds!
Thanks.

install sysupdater to EmuNAND (install to SD,not to NAND itself on FBI) then update from there.

Ok, thanks for your help @driverdis

Sorry to bother you but it's the only solution?
It would be very convenient for me to do it from coldboot without installing SysUpdater.cia in my EmuNAND.
Nobody tried to do this?

that would either not work for permissions reasons or update SysNAND. It must be run while in EmuNAND and the CIA is the easiest method of doing so. You can delete sysupdater from EmuNAND after upgrading.
