Question regarding NNID and Aroma

Hi guys!

I would like to change my NNID but it seems impossible on WiiU.
So I have some questions, if anyone know the answer.
I want to change it because that NNID names appears while on games (for example on NFS Most Wanted outdoors while driving).

1- Does anyone know what happens if I just delete the account.dat file on my profile?
2- What if I edit the file and change the line with the name on it?
3- On any on those cases, does this delete the tickets of installed all games? Even wup installled ones?
4- Can I play all games without a NNID linked? I think there are some games that require one. Or am I wrong?

1. idk but maybe someone here knows
2. (in theory) you shouldnt have any problems in the game considering its just a string and the NNID servers are already dead
3. IIRC the tikets will still be in your console, youd have to use a ticket cleaner/ftp to remove them
4. i think most games will work offline without an NNID linked

Regarding Q3 I would like to keep the games! I was just afraid it deletes or makes the tickets useless

I recommend using this program to back up your NNID (Just in case, or even just for posterity) and then to unlink it. Then you can migrate to Pretendo using the PNID name you want. Once that's all said and done, you can use the same app to back up your PNID too.
