Hacking question on playing vita games

ive been off the scene for a while. i am on 3.60 ofw still and using the browser hack
1. is maidumptool still the best way to install?
2. is there a new way to use external storage except using the official vita memory card?
3. with the ps store getting removed is there any impact on hacking scene?
4. is there a better alternative to the browser hack on my current fw?

1. use nonpdrm
2. You can use a SD2Vita as your ux0, you could mount a HDD if you have a PSTV.
3. They are not shutting down the PS Vita playstation store at the moment

My understanding is Sony is keeping the store open for Vita for the time being. The games themselves were never being completely pulled (you could still redownload your previous purchases), just the ability to purchase new ones.
