I have a New 3DS (3DS 2015) with firmware version 11.13.0-45E and Luma3DS 10.0.1. Recently the SD card slot stopped working so I bought a replacement. The problem is that when it is plugged in the screens are black and the power light stays on. Without the SD card slot the system works perfectly fine. I'll be really glad if anyone can give me a suggestion on what to do and I really don't want to buy a new system. I already checked if the problem is in the micro SD card and it works perfectly fine when it is read from my PC.

Remove the n3DS battery. Discharge the 3DS by holding the (POWER) button up to 30 seconds. Press the (POWER) button several more times. Take a soft bristled toothbrush dipped in 70%-91% isopropyl rubbing alcohol. Clean the port and connector. Dry the residual liquid with low fan speed, low heat setting hair dyer with side-to-side sweeping motions. Clean the microSD card slot for any dust inside with canned spray air and/or vacuum.
