Hardware Question. Mint Slim or Scratched Bezel Phat?

As per title.

Should I get a preowned slim that's mint or a preowned phat that has some scratches though screen is flawless?

Assuming price is basically the same.

Well, it really depends on what you think as a priority.

If you want a better looking screen, go with PSVita 1000. Now, if you want a lighter device with a better battery length, the PSVita 2000 is your choice.

TBH, if you don't mind the screen, I'd suggest you to get a 2000. The battery and micro-USB port alone are very good reasons for the choice.

2000 is using IPS right? I actually don't mind IPS panels, they look great compared to TN on my 3ds.

Exactly. The main thing is that it isn't bad (far from it, honestly), but the OLED screen is notably better (even more if you play games that benefit from it's high contrast and bright colors, like Muramasa and Odin Sphere for an example).

But as I said before, it's just a detail. Thinking about the benefits, the 2000 model's still a better choice in my opinion.
