Hacking [QUESTION]How to update from 8.1 to 9.2?

Hello everyone, so i just got a 2ds thats on ver. 8.1.0-12U and i want to install CFW on it but i don't know if i have to update to 9.2 or if i can install the CFW on 8.1.
Anyone that can help me?

And no, you do not need 9.x for CFW, but if you want to update anyway then it won't be a problem.

I wanted to update to 9.2 because it's the latest exploitable version if im right, but is it the same if i install rx tools with the guide you posted above?
