Gaming Question: DLC, Updates, Etc

Ok so I am running backups, and have CBHC w/ haxchi. But when I want to get updates/DLC do I have to go back to my PC and redownload the new, and put it to SD and install through Wup Installer, or is there a way to get to the eshop for unpurchased content and it lets you?...

Also when installing through WUP
does it matter WHAT you install first as far as update/dlc/game? I just threw them on the SD and installed, they seem to run so I have no clue.

For updates, yes
For DLC, you'll need WUP Installer if you didn't bought them

thanks! and when installing the game through WUP does it matter which part you install first? I downloaded all tossed on a SD card and selected all, some games had DLC&Update too

You literally have nothing to do but to accept the update when launching your game, if you didn't block Ninty servers with proxy DNS.
The games will auto detect any update at launch.

I still prefer to download everything on my own, then install with WUP Installer GX2.

yeah I blocked with DNS using the guide so I probably won't ever know about the updates haha -.-

You'll know about the update, but it will fail to download (I got that when playing BOTW when update 1.1.2 came, as well as when the latest update came for Yoshi Woolly World).

alright so even if blocked it will notify me but fail all day long so i can just go to my PC and manually do the updates just so i dont have to unblock etc etc.

Use NNUPatcher so you can download updates from eShop.
