Is it possible to delete notifications via homebrew code? I did a system transfer from my old 3ds but I didn't notice that its date was set to 2035, so every time I get a new notification they appear after those old ones. What can I do, besides formatting?

I know you can add, but I dont know about delete.

I have the same problem, although the wrong year in my case is 2017. But it is annoying to have new notifications always below six other with wrong dates.
I don't know where the Notifications data are stored... perhaps that info can be extracted and edited (in this case, removed) through extdatatools, in the same vein of the process to transform common Mii in golden pants Mii?

They're stored somewhere on the NAND, and no, there is no known delete command (http://3dbrew.org/wiki/News_Services). If there is one, it's yet to be found. They're stored in a file called news.db, but as for where it is, 3dbrew doesn't say. It'd be interesting to know, though.
