I just got a n3ds, downgraded, and got cfw and menuhax working. I would like to use the mset exploit, and yes, I have a ds flashcart and I know how to downgrade my mset. I was wondering if I could use it with reinand, as from what I can tell, rxtools is the only cfw to suport mset besides gateway, and rxtools is basically dead. I know about arm9, but im too lazy and a bit scared to take the plunge. Please dont make this into a post about telling me how great arm9loaderhax is. I have been looking for a solution for a few hours now, and an answer would be greatly apperiated

May I ask you why you want to use mset? That's just extra effort and booting into sysnand (risky!) while menuhax autoboots into Emunand.

Maybe the newer version for rxtools works but I don't think any cfw supports that method so outdated.

I just want to use mset as I am fimilular with it, and it has a extermly high boot rate. I have used it before (on my o3ds), and it boots into emunand. I just don't want to install arm9loaderhax, as I don't completely trust my self to not goof up the process

I have a friend who has done it before, still not 100% sure about the process

Why not just look into improving your menuhax bootrate?
Why not just look into improving your menuhax boot time?
Oh wait.
Anyway, @SimplyFedorable
Just PM me if you want your 3DS done, I have installed A9LH on 6 3DSes (2 n3ds:4 o3ds) so far ^_^

EDIT: Just realised that you live in America and would have to pay for shipping o_o you can if you want, but I could just guide you through the tutorial on PMs.

Oh wait.

I am not sure if this is being sarcastic or not, since it is a text reply.

But seriously, I gave him valid info and a link into improving the bootrate of menuhax.

I honestly, don't care if people use MSET, Menuhax, or A9LH. Or whatever CFW you use are your daily driver.

But as for MSET on ReiNAND, I can't seem to find any information in regards to it. Maybe someone else can chime in on that.

It was sarcasm, but I have nothing against menuhax :P
If it felt like I was insulting you, I wasn't.

I already had downgraded my menuhax, and I have crt. a reason why i would like to use mset is to have access to the homebrew launcher, as crt dosnt boot homebrew apps. I know i can use the homebrew launcher to select reinand, but I'm too lazy to do that :p. Mabye someone knows how to have multiple boot.3dsx's? That would fix my issue. May start a new thread...

Rename the HBL boot.3dsx to something else and add it to CTRBootManager. That's how I used to do it and it worked fine.

Rename the CTRBootManager boot.3dsx to something else (has to be 4 characters, ie menu.3dsx), then edit the menuhax payload using notepad. Ctrl + f for boot.3dsx and replace it with menu.3dsx, there should be two instances iirc.

Then use the HomebrewLauncher Loader and have that load your HBL boot.3dsx.

That's also another option. I was vague on the details of that one.

I guess I just liked letting CtrBootManager handle everything, when I used to use that, didn't bother me much having a 1-2 second window. Not like I cared for HBL back then though either.

I had an idea to modify the stock HBL boot.3dsx or girdlanucher (my preferred launcher) to automatically boot the reinand.3dsx unless "L" was held with in a 2 second window. May actually get started on that...
