Hardware Question about thermal paste

Hello everyone.I know i am asking a dump question but just in case..if i buy a thermal paste and don't use the whole 3.5 gr of the product,the one that's left....is there a chance to dry????

You just use a pea size amount on the CPU and GPU. It will not dry out if left in the tube.
