Hacking Question about the Wii U update folder

So, a while ago I deleted the Wii U update folder using ftpiiu. I used the browser hack, but now I want to finally update my system to the latest firmware and set up haxchi. How do I do this? Or should I just try to update as if nothing happened? I don't remember what the folder was called and where it was.

just create again the folder "update" at the good p^lace ;-à)

Read the thread that @Madridi linked. You need to recreate the folder at the proper location and then you need to set the proper permissions for that folder.

I firmly believe the permission settings isn’t even needed. It’s just for good measure, as that was what the permission was before deleting.

i have deleted the update folder, now i want to recreate it but i forgot the proper permissions to set,
how can I do?
