Gaming Question about the Sonic Forces DLC

Ok i have the Switch and i decide, after be stuck for so long with MK8 Deluxe, to try out Sonic Forces. I have check out the japanese eshop and i found out that there is one DLC that it dosen't appear on the EUR store. This DLC is for the custome that have come with the special edition, the one that came with the sticker for your controller. So i was wondering: i can buy the DLC normaly on the japanese store and they will function on the game (i will buy the game in store so is gonna be a PAL copy)? Also there are gonna be problem with the transaction? Becose i eard some pepole says that not all the card are supported (i talk about credit card or similar not the eshop card).
For my experience, with the JAP 3DS, i have no problem for buy games and DLC but im not sure if they have change something in the transition to the Nintendo Switch eshop.
