Quick Question about Dynasty Warriors DLC

Hi quick question, bought DW Origins for the switch 2 a while back and play-asia has japanese eshop cards pretty cheap atm. Was interested in buying the DLC for it off their but not sure if it is compatible with the Australian version of it. I know most switch games dlc work cross region apart from Splatoon 2 and a few others but just wanted to double check before i bought anything, cheers

That would entirely depend on if the game is under the same titleID. Well either way a JP code has to be claimed with a JP account afaik. But my advise is check to see is on your system you can choose the "go to game page in eShop" setting and pick a JP account. If it loads the store page and shows you as owning the game via the JP store then yes the DLC will work.
