Gaming Question about the save file

Hey,

So I downloaded a game (and played is with Prometheus) and now I want to buy the game.
Can I just use the save file from the downloaded one with the real Iso?
Because you have to change the file name or something like that.

I hope this is understandable =P
And not a question that has been asked already.

you should be able to use the saves, I remember playing resistance using the same save from my retail copy

just make sure that the iso you were using is from the same region as the copy you are purchasing. Otherwise you could run into compatibility issues

Oh ok. So is there a way to see if you got an EUR or an USA ISO? Because the file just says Phantasy Star Portable 2.

You can probally open the iso with something and it will give you
the region or header.
