Hacking Question about the online on gateway 3ds

Hello guys , i recently got the gateway 3ds uptaded it to 8.1 and 2.3b , and it seem that the internet works fine with the game so i can actually download dlcs and such , but i read that if you play the online theres a possibility for nintendo to find you and brick your console , i just got super smash bros for 3ds , and i would like to play it online , is it safe or is there a way to make it safe .

No one knows, since nothing has happened yet in terms of mass bannings for using flashcarts online on the 3DS.

As for using the Gateway online, it's the best bet to use your own dumps and/or headers online. If nothing else, you have unique ID tags on your game list

what do you mean by dumps and/or headers ? and the unique ID tags , i am still new to all this stuff so i know mostly nothing ^^'
