Hacking Question about starfall

Hey guys.I recently installed starfall and i checked to make sure it was working.Does this make me completely brick proof?I wanted to install cioscorp but im scarred that it will brick my wii.What are some percausions to take with cioscorp?If something went wrong how would i fix the brick?

forget starfall. look for preloader.

once thats on its brick proof.

as for cioscorp... just go for it!

Well preloader is easier, should you ever need to remove a crappy wad file for example/
Starfall requires you to have Twilight Princess and the twilight hack must also still be there.
But with preloader, you can just directly start the HBC (instead of the Wii menu) to do the rescue stuff.

Hmm, to me it would be "natural evolution" if it was better in every detail, but it just isn't. Or does a Wii with preloader start the Wii menu with the same speed as a Wii with starfall does? (just picking 1 example)

My point is: When you know what you are doing, you are fine with starfall if you don't need the preloader features, just disc update blocking, and some brick prevention(sadly only when you know how).

I have succesfully installed both cioscorp and preloader.Unfortunatley it doesnt load gamecube backups.I used to load them with gamecube backup launcher.I patched to a version of mios but i dont think i did it right.How would i go on installing cmios again?

should i just install over?Is there an uninstaller because i just tried installing over with the one that came with the softmii pack and it didnt work.

edit:i just installed over it with waninkokos cmios and i still cannot play either original games or backups from my disk channel.Also I can boot originals and backups using the gamecube backup loader channel

For the Originals they now boot fine.(I had to disable something in preloader)But i still cannot boot backups.I insert it into the disc channel,It recognizes the disk.It tries to read it.The blue light from the dvd drive blinks once .1 sec later it blinks again.then my wii reboots.This is only for backups.Please help!
