I'm planning to buy a slim pstwo on Black Friday only if the independence exploit will work on the latest pstwo.
I've never done the independence exploit before but when you're doing the independence exploit, do you need to transfer the files onto the memory card on the same ps2 that you wish to softmod or can you transfer the files on someone else's ps2, bring the memory card back to your own ps2 and have the exploit still work? My fat has fallen ill from the DRE since forever so I'm hoping that this exploit will let me play from my USB HD.
