Hacking question about savetypes...

most of my games AREN'T the AUTO sayetype, which is the only one with soft reset. is there any way i can change all my games to the AUTO savetype? and if i do, will it mess up the games? please help!

AUTO is fine for all games!
To change them to auto:
Hilight the rom in the menu.
Press and hold the select key.
Press left or right untill AUTO appears in the save type section.
You must change each rom on its own.

umm, i tried this and it didnt work. any advice?

EDIT: haha i was pressing the shoulde buttons L + R, but i tried the control pad and it worked. thanks paul!

No small number of newer released titles dislike the 'auto' setting.

I've never seen much appeal to soft reset, I have auto boot on anyway so its just as fast to off/on, and 5 less keys to press...
