I have a pretty good pc and was wondering how long it will take to rip a wii game so i can play it using dolphin?and what about gamecube games?I am not a pirate so please no download it instead crap...and What speed should i rip them with?thanks a bunch.
 
I've ripped Wii ISO's from my pc though...
BTW just edit the wii to disable updates

You can't brick a wii by updating it.
And it usually takes 10-20 minutes.

You would have to buy a special drive that is no longer in production.

Lol, yes you can. It's happened to a lot of people. Where were you when 4.2/4.3 was released?

@OP: Use ModMii to hack your Wii, and updates will be blocked by Priiloader. It's very safe. Part of the process is making a NAND backup, which means you can recover from any brick that isn't hardware related.
 
Actually, you can ripping Nintendo Game Cube with PC..

Use a supported LG DVD-RW drive to back up Gamecube and Wii games using Rawdump or Friidump.
