lets say i fully charged my NDSL,until it can't be charged anymore

How long does it usually last if i play on the brightest setting?

It lasted a night for me,from 8pm to around 1-2am

Is this normal?

Brightness level 1 (lowest): 15-19 hours.
Brightness level 2: 12-15 hours.
Brightness level 3: 8-10 hours.
Brightness level 4 (highest) 5-8 hours.

Flashcarts tend to shorten those amounts by as much as 15%. Volume also affects those numbers.

In each category, the lower number is DS games and the higher number is GBA games.

Those numbers also assume that the battery is working at full potential.

Hope that helps ya!

i see

thanks man!

Slot-2 devices are also notorious for drastically reducing battery life. I can only get about 4 hours max on my DS Phat with my slot-2 Supercard.

its real strange. i only get around 6 hours on lowest or second lowest brightness settings on most falshcarts i tried.

i got an unofficial battery replacement (supposably 2x the capacity) but no difference was noticable. my NDSL is only just over a year old.

I've always heard that those "high capacity" third party batteries were crap; if you were lucky they would perform as well as the standard Nintendo battery, but usually they would give even less play time despite the claims of holding twice the charge.
