Hi guys. I have a question about giving out my imei number. I need to sign an app for my Symbian phone and the only way to do so is to sign it online and to give out my imei number. I have found that many people use this site for signing, http://cer.s603rd.cn/. The thing is, i have read that people can clone phones using my imei, and they can block your service and such. I currently dont have any service on my phone as i will be getting service in a few weeks. Would it be safe to give out my imei for this one time to sign this app with no service? Would this cause problems for me in the future when i do get service? I dont believe anyone has reported anything bad happening after using the site, but i want to be very cautious.

    Thanks in advance.

NEVER give out your IMEI number unless you want to risk having your phone stop working and having the feds knocking on your door.
