Hacking Question about game dumps

Curious question if you were to purchase a switch game dumped it on your switch next day trade it in saying you didn’t like it would the next person who purchases that same game get banned
 
Used game doesn't have this issue. But if you dump it and both are connected at same time with the same cert you'll have this issue.

Yea. But he is not saying that both would go online. So generally you won't get banned, unless both are online playing the same game.
 
Yes as long as you don't go online it shouldn't be a problem. All the xci files floating around are all game dumps only.

but this would be a crummy thing to do, also for stores in the US at least, most video games cant be returned if they are opened.
 
If both were online at the same time, possible cert ban (affecting that specific game cart/dump only). If dozens/hundreds online with that cart's cert at same time, guaranteed cert ban. Unhacked console playing legit cart would (almost definitely) not be banned.
