Hardware Question about EZ Flash Omega DE

Does the EZ Flash Omega DE have the issue where games booted from SD card just boot to a white screen? I bought a used Omega (not DE) like 4 years ago and it had the issue but now it's getting worse (I was able to fix it for a while by putting paper behind the chips to add pressure). If the DE doesn't have this issue then I'll get that but otherwise I'll spend the extra money for an Everdrive even though it doesn't have save states

I have mine and not at all. I've even used the included SD card, and functions properly all the time.

Owned two Omega DEs, both the old one and my current one were flawless the entire time and I haven't heard much about others having issues at all. The DE is leagues ahead of the standard Omega in just about every way.

I just got mine this week and I had that issue with 3 games, Granted these were the 3 games I didn't patch myself
I found the original patch files through their discords and used the base game. Patched successful. No longer white screen.

I then tried to update the Box art and Change the Identifier (4 Digits) and then it went white screen again. Turned out that I needed to change the Identifier first then patch the game. Worked after that.
