so i backed up a couple of games mario galaxy and zelda because they were getting a bit scratched, and i want to use backups so i was wondering
1 whats the use of trucha signing, its just for edited disks right?
2 does galaxy need to be burned in a special way compared to other games, i know that the save is slightly different than normal saves
3 best buring software, what burning speeds, other options i may need on, i have a load of iso burners already, magic iso, padus disc juggler, imgburn, i may have some others aswell not sure tbh.
4 anyhing else i need to know
thanks for you help with this people.

1. edits the content of the disk to fix errors or enhance game play
rolleyes.gif

2. burn galaxy like any other (depending on your chip, you may get an error. If you do, look for a chip update or trucha sign the disk with the 001 fix)
3. Imgburn is popular. Burn at ~2.4x.
4. The search function is your friend.

If you add content, or change content, such as translating a game, or adding custom songs in GH games.

Burn baby burn... just pop in a blank dvd, and hit BURN!

IMGBurn at 4x... you'll have to get DVDInfoPro if you wanna find out if your burns are any good (anything above a 70% quality ROXORS!)

If you trucha sign a disc, you can't run it normally in 3.3... you'll need to get GeckoOS (either the channel or the HBC) to run it. The only game (at the time of this post) that is dual layer disc is Smash Bros Brawl, which requires 3.2 firmware on your Wii.

i agree with 4x in imgburn, regardless of the listed disc speed, 4x works 100% for me
when you're ripping the discs with LG drive don't even touch the pc. walk away until done
