Hacking Question about 1.08 Firmware

Both files are in zip format, compatible with WinXP, Winzip, Winrar

Is it possible to disable the skin loop ?


press select until you have manual themes selected. It's in the stickied FAQ

You can edit your own ?usrcheat.dat?database.


I can't actually get the outputted usrcheat.dat to work on the R4. It's a different format than cheat.dat (encrypted), but no matter where I put the usrcheat.dat, it's cheats dont register.

If it doesn't include WiFi cheats, that's certainly GOOD NEWS. Cheaters on WFC should be shot.

Some cheats work on wifi. Some don't. It's up to you to find them out.

I'm not, either. Just seeing "(Y) Cheat" at the bottom of the screen now prompted me to delete cheat.dat. I'll probably never use the feature. It takes the fun out of games.

i haven't bothered updated my cart cos it's just adding cheats

And cheating on wifi makes it obsolete. Try playing metroid online recently? A joke.

This release is AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME. If only there was a way to:

1. Turn cheats off
2. Not have to patch to return from DS game to main menu.

the moonshell error screen displays on all carts, except for supercard ds one, which i believe your can replace the error screen with something else through a program.

No idea exactly, if the cheats works online i'll be pissed. Fucking pissed.

All of the cheats do indeed work online. The only cheat I use online is the shyguy cheat.
