Hacking Question about 1.08 Firmware

that is the final 1.08 it has a cheat.dat file in there like when i use ti use the efa512 but i'm not sure how to use it yet.............sudeki300

putting it on my R4 now...............

when the game is loading and there's a cheat in the dat.file you press the y button and the cheat is loaded into the game.pretty easy really.the only thing is i don't think you'll be able to add your own cheats to the dat.file.you just download an update from the R4 website.but i might be wrong.............sudeki300

It works right out of the box, though I recommend you edit it, put new stuff in, etc.

If it doesn't include WiFi cheats, that's certainly GOOD NEWS. Cheaters on WFC should be shot.

the only thing i don't like is the yellow text in the menu it doesn't go with some skins.sorry for getting how to use the cheat function wrong.you press the y button before loading the game and the cheat menu comes up.if your having trouble with the skins what i done was delete the theme folder and just use my favourite skin.everyone have a good weekend and happy gaming..............sudeki300

p.s. if anyone knows how to change the colour of the text please let me know.thanks

thanks buddy i ahve never looked at th etext on those themes.ini files.i'll have a look later and change the colour.it's just that i had the same theme on before changing the system verion to 1.08 and the text was red or black.thanks buddy......................sudeki300
