Hacking question 3.4u backup from the disc channel

Can you played backup from the disc channel on wii firmware 3.4u? I have the HBC and back loader install, but was wondering if i can played from the channel to make it easier for my daughter.

You will need to patch the System Menu to use cIOS. Waninkoko has MenuPatcher to do that, but I can't guarantee if it will work or not.

Alternatively, you can install a System Menu WAD patched to use cIOS...
