I have a workstation computer paired with a Pentium D 805 and a nvidia quadro fx 4400, and while I'll use it for general use, would it be okay to play light games on it? (like shadowrun returns and bioshock) I understand the quadro line isn't meant for gaming I plan on replacing it with a amd gpu. I just wanted to know if it's okay for casual gaming with it's limited memory how do they handle 3d games? Also I cannot find the geforce equivalent for the fx 4400/3400 any ideas what it is?

It's similar to the GeForce 6800. Probably a little weaker.
I don't know if it'd handle anything 3D from the last 5+ years but anything 2D? It should be able to.

Worth trying whatever you want to try playing, anyway. You're replacing the GPU soon so it's not like the games will never be played.
