I'm on Rebug 4.85.1, and i've got some VMCs I made of my PS1 and PS2 cards on my PS2 a little while ago. I can't redump my saves as individual files as my PS2 no longer works. Is there a way to add these VMCs to my PS3 or am I SOL?

normal memory cards are vmc; ps2 classics are vme (encrypted). they're essentially the same aside from the encryption portion for ps2 classics. I have a tutorial in my sig about transferring saves from a ps2.

Again, i'd prefer to not restack the entire card (as it's got some files outside of "regular" saves and it's bigger than 8MB) but i'll keep that in mind in case i'm unable to find a way to just import them.

the ps3 is finicky with memory cards over 8MBs. I think it might be able to use 16, but 32+ can cause problems. I've never bothered trying this, since you can just make more memory cards. if they're vmc, they're already the right format from what I remember.

oh, in that case i am gonna have to restack it, it's a 128MB VMC.

yeah, I think there might be a problem. I've never tried to make a larger one, but I've been told not too much larger. I think you can make the memory cards with the ps2 emulator on pc.
