So I dunno if this is possible or not, but considering how the Switch can natively communicate with 3rd party bluetooth controllers, such as say the 8bitdo controllers, I started wondering, could we push some sort of firmware update to a Wii U pro controller so that the Switch can natively see it, thinking its a Switch pro controller or acceptable 3rd party bluetooth controller? I know there are a few devices out there that we can plug into a USB port of the Switch so that it can recognize an indivdual Wii U pro controller, but it'd be pretty great to not have to buy an extra accessory, especially since they can only read one Wii U pro controller at a time. I have multiple Wii U pro controllers that could get plenty of use in Smash Ultimate, and its a shame that the only reason that I can't is because it's a feature that simply hasn't been activated yet, but seemingly could if Nintendo wanted to.

I would love to use my wii motes with the switch - hopefully one day somebody will come up with a way (like hid2vpad).
