Hacking Punch Out / Boom Blox Bash Party NTSC-J Help

Hi Everyone,

I am on 3.3 NTSC-J Wiikey, and i have recently tried Punch Out and Boom Blox Bash Party, but they all end up black screen on me

.

In the past, all NTSC-U games work for me after the introduction of wglp and trucha and wiifrii and those other jazz.

Is there any way to get these games working on my wii?

there seem to be issues. same goes for mad world. there seem to exist fixes if you load through geckos but i did not have the chance to try it yet.

black screen usually means missing ios so try and search for what ios those games need to run and install them....it might be ios 53 not sure though

Where can i find the what the needed IOS are?
I have PES2009 and I also get the blackscreen.
Also need IOS for Smackdown vs raw 2009 and Need for speed.
I haven't updated since 3.2

Well, using the search often gives good results....

.
Anyways, If you have a Chip, or Original Retail Games, launch them once with GeckoOS. It will detect what IOS is requested and install it from the Disc, if it isn't already installed. Very safe, nearly nothing can go wrong

. After that, they should even work from Disc Channel, so you don't need GeckoOS anymore for them (only for Region-Free maybe).

I am on a JAP Wii... Do i get IOS from Japanese wii games???

NVM i discovered IOS and HBC and all those other stuff. Problem solved
