Use retroarch with PS1 core. It pretty much works 100% last time I tried with a whole bunch of JRPG & racing games. I don't use Wii U much anymore so not really up to date on this. Better check with the retroarch guys: https://gbatemp.net/threads/retroarch-wiiu-wip.447670/page-728
