Hi everybody,
Is it possible to run protected psx backups on multiman? For exemple I have PSX Resident Evil 3 (PAL) backup in BIN/CUE/SBI and it does work with every emulator except on PS3 Multiman, where it freezes on the blood and gore advise. I tried the IMG/CUE/SBI and ISO formats but when I load the disc with Multiman it says "re3.img loaded" or "re3.bin loaded", but never .cue. This way the ps3 can't read the .sbi file, is there a way to do so without using a PPF patch?

Thank you

I've tried IMG/CUE/SUB with no luck. My dump is legit as it does work with every PC emuator. It seems like multiman or cobra aren't able to read subchannel data...

I ran PS1 bin/cue with multiman and webMan Mod.. Worked great. Yes, I am using the latest Rebug for over 10 years. :)

How did you get the latest version 10 years in advance

Oops.. I mean over 6 years for Rebug.. Totally is 8 years now. I just count it. Rebug released in 2013 of August, I think. About 10 years in totally was included my first PS Jailbreak USB dongle.

Completely missed the joke there, oh well

I'm using last rebug version but I can't run LibCrypt games like Legend of Dragoon or Dino Crisis, be it .iso, bin/cue/sub/sbi, img/cue .pkg...

Neither Rebug nor Multiman can parse external p/q sub-channel data (your .sbi file). You have to either patch the game with a PPF file or burn it onto a disc after converting it to a clone cd image format.

Fun fact: Sony also uses cracked images for their official PS1 PSN releases.
