Homebrew PSX Emulator for N3DS?

Hi there,

is it fun to play a PSX game like FF7 with an emulator on a N3ds (or is it possible / is there an emulator) or does the N3DS still don't have enough power to emulate a PS1? (Only found a thread of 2015 with the O3DS...)

Not incredibly slow. But slow.
Like 45/60 fps typically.
People say disabling sound AND activating frameskip helps push it up to nearly fullspeed, but I need mah sound.

sadly if you really want PS1 on the go a PSP or android device w/ a PS1 emu is really your only choice to play full speed w/ sound
