Very new to vita just got my 3G 1000 model the other day, and got psvsd setup and working in it. rebooted a few times and everything was fine. opened the web browser today as i was installing some stuff with pkgj and the vita froze on the blue "www" screen as it was loading the browser. I held the power button until the vita hard rebooted but when it booted up again the psvsd does not appear in vitashell and everything installed on it is not on the homescreen. Everything in my files is the same as before the crash, storagemgr config is MCD=uma0, UMA=ux0. The sd card is a real previously tested samsung 512GB EVO, it still reads fine in my PC. In vitashell the memory card is ux0 like it was before i installed the psvsd and there is no uma0. I've tried rebooting a few times and rebuilding the database but no dice, any idea what the fix might be?

DId you just recently hack this unit, or, did somebody else hack this unit for you?

If it's been recently hacked, and you've not got a lot of "stuff" (apps, games, et.) on the unit, might be easier to just re-hack it, If you do have a lot of stuff on it, someone with a better knowledge of the intricacies of the SD card should show up and give you other advice. Just be patient with them to chime in...

i did just recently hack it, i can try setting it up again in the meantime i'm gonna try reformatting the sd card and if that doesn't work then ill try starting from scratch thanks

neither of those worked but the fix for now seemed to be opening up the vita and physically reseating the psvsd. the blue led on the psvsd was on when i opened the console even though the console was fully shutdown which i thought was odd but it turned off when i disconnected the battery. hopefully the issue doesn't return.

This issue happens constantly fo me and I never have my T2 screwdriver with me on the go when I need to reseat it. Blue light stays on like you said. (Rest of message won't fit?)

Today, bootup, YAMT does its infamous 'Database Un-Update' for not seeing the PSVSD. Soft-reboot, Database updates as PSVSD is found, put things in bubbles again for 4+ reboots. CustomLiveArea erred with an IO issue on restoring icons intermittently. But oddly the only time the reseat issue arises is when using the Browser, after a random reboot or freeze. More often with StorageManager

Now until I reseat it, at each bootup, I'm threatened with a prompt to format my memory card. I dare not assume it's not the PSVSD's data. Can't Unlink as Henkaku sees no ux0. I've replaced my card (now a 2TB Sandisk Pro) but reused the same PSVSD from Davis Store. If I should replace it, is that the best supplier?
