hi everyone

I don't have PS4, but on the other hand I want to buy a psvr to connect it to the Nintendo Switch, it works without ps4.

Can the PC replace the PS4

thank you for your advance on the subject

there is no accessory to replace the ps4 or something cfw of the switch (psvr detection driver exploit ) to detect the psvr

PSVR works perfectly fine in Switch titles that support VR, but there's a specific way you have to connect things, I'll have to look it up. It's also compatible with PC's, I believe the app you need is called Trinity Trinus.

EDIT: It works, but you do need a PS4 to enable VR functionality on the headset, so that's a bust.

The PC app is called Trinus, it *might* work as a PS4 replacement as it uses the same kind of signal - not sure though. Most people who own a PSVR already own a PS4, I've never seen a setup using an alternative device on Switch, but I can't see why it couldn't work. Sounds like a fun experiment, but I don't have a VR ready rig on hand to test it.

@Foxi4 I wonder if a module could be made to spoof PS4 connection (probably needs RE’ing encryption) to allow it without a PS4....
I can't imagine that USB connection sending a whole lot of information, as far as I know it's a two-way control interface. The actual video signals go over the thicc boi cables, the USB is presumably for physical controls, motion tracking etc.
