As I said, its the same principal, im not trying to say he was right for coming into the thread and bashing it for no reason, I'm simply saying you've gone into topics on consoles and listed whole half-page lists on why you don't like its releases, pretty much a more complex way of doing what he did. Thats all, Chill bro.

lol ps3 is exactly the same.

I update because of backup utility. You cant use it without an up-to-date system

so lets summarize how much restrictions the ps vita has:

you can't copy data from the ps3 to install games needs internet + psn
you cant use the pc software without internet
memory cards are extrely overpriced and higly restrictive (cant use file browser and needs pc software to work)
and now the new restriction, you cant bacup your data without a firmware update!

what else does the vita not let you do without controlling you? you cant use your save data without the internet or cant back them up (i would laugh if this was true)

seriously people what makes people buy one of these handhelds with so many restrictions and control? i really do hope it get fully hack becase sony deserve it.

by all means enjoy your new toy but the "fun" comes at a price, a nice useless update that will remove your gba emulator before you can blink.

i guess my opinion is a bit skewed as i paid like $50 for mine but i do see where you're coming from when you consider buying one at rrp but i just personally love mine :3
