Yo kanye! I'm happy for you, and imma let you finish, but Captain Picard had one of the best facepalms of all time!

Well if the warranty void sticker is anything like the PSP/PS2/PS3 it should be very easy to remove with a blow dryer.

The battery looks just like a household phone battery.

I would seriously consider buying the PSPGo if it was hacked, as it looks so sexy! Only downside, they just expect us all to drop all our old UMD's and get a few freebies when we sign up.. Boo!

... A sticker. So basically Sony are saying "If you dare to improve this console in any way by removing the battery and starting to explore possibilities, we'll make you pay for repairs."

Nice one Sony, you sure as hell stopped possible hacking of the Go didn't you? Ugh. >_>

For me the fact that its held together by its shell is one massive facepalm itself, like the PSP wasn't fragile enough. I'll grab me a another PSP one day but it wont be PSPgo.

That's pretty damn ridiculous. Wouldn't the system break with like one big drop? ... The more I hear about the PSPGo's traits, the more I begin to think of buying one as akin to inflicting self-harm. It's just not logical. ._.

I really want to get one, anyone know a good website with a psp community kinda like gbatemp? I want to know if they ever do hack it.

LOL! PSP go shouldve atleast done something so the battery couldn't come out. All they could pull out was a sticker ^^ Hope it'll be hacked soon ... probably before christmas too eh ?

i like how most of the postulation in this thread is being done by people i have never seen on the psp board...

like -> "zomg haha sony u r fuck. since battery are can be take out we r get hax dis thing real ez cuz DAX r make cfw for r pandora"

all the intelligent coders and such out there still cant get more than a half-assed hack on late psp2000's and all psp 3000's... you really think sony is going to make it easier to hack the psp go than their earlier systems?

the psp-go is also likely to have a totally different firmware than the rest of the psp's since it will have no umd, and a sdd that will play the games, as well as the other features it is supposed to have.

just because the only thing keeping you from taking the battery out is a fancy sticker does not mean hacking will be any easier.

That's exactly what I was thinking!

QUOTE(chrisman01 @ Oct 1 2009, 08:17 AM) is that from space battleship yamato in the top right? The guy in the middle looks like the enemy commander from season 1...or 2.... Wow, it's been a while!

Youtube, here I come!

No I think that's from Gundam ZZ.

they should improve the image exploits even more than the battery.

WE DONT HAVE A FUCKING SONY PSP REPAIR CENTER SO WE DONT CARE ABOUT THIS "WARRANTY"

Where are the Sony PSP repair centers in my country, Sony? EXTREME FACEPALM!!

That's dumb, I like being able to change the battery, I have more than a few. Does it take the same battery as the slims?

And Pandora's Battery and PSP Hacking are what makes the PSP so great, stopping that would be ruining it.

So you're saying that Sony should LET you pirate games making them lose money? Wow that's just a fail. Sony doesn't want to lose money so they make it a bit harder to hack and how does hacking it make it so great? That's like saying the dsi/ds/dsl is nothing without flashcarts and the ability to pirate games EVEN THOUGH the games are ones they sell in stores so obviously whether or not it's hackable has nothing to do with how great the system is. Now THIS deserves a facepalm.

Don't know if it's already said, but, at least in europe, it is required that every device should have a replaceable battery..

Not that that explains why they said it would be unremoveable..
