So I recently installed CFW on my slim and it's been smooth sailing getting .isos installed. I'm following the compatibility list and today I've been struggling to get the 2 Persona 2 PSP games to create a .pkg file. It seems like it has something to do with patch files (they are I believe the Japanese versions of the games with english PSX dubs. The game id's check out on CDRomance and these should be playable, but when I load them in PSP2PS3 to be processed I'm getting UMD errors:
For Persona 2 Innocent Sin I get:
-Detected non-zero disc:\PSP Game sysdir opnssmp.bin iso needs patching.
-Warning detected non ELF disc 0 PSP Game sysdir opnssmp.bin iso needs patching.
I click build and then it says an attempt will be made to patch...And finally...
-There was a problem signing the Eboot Bin. Prx signer:Elf is too big.
For Persona 2 Eternal Punishment
I get the same as above, but when I click on build the message is:
-There was a problem decrypting the eboot bin
PSPCipher by TPU & Liquidzigong invalidprx.
I found some suggestions to run UMD, open up the files and delete an update folder, then save as an uncompressed .iso-(which I did), but the last step of signing eboot: I do not see any option to do so in PSP2PS3 (either the older or newer version)-Read it was just an option to check off, but nada as far as I can see.
I tried extracting the eboot.bin, signing it with PSP2PS3's sign_eboot.bat, repacking it in UMD Generator and redownloading the new. iso-Didn't work and still getting the .elf file to big error.
Can anyone offer some guidance? Thanks in advance.
