Gaming psp

Can some one help me install cfw on my psp 1000 firmware 4.05 I tried
following the guide but could not run HellCat's Recovery Flasher it just says
game could not be started

should've known better, no need for recovery flasher with pandora.
a little rusty.

1. You must update your hackable PSP to OFW 5.03
2. Then install 5.03 ChickHEN to your PSP
3. Copy Hellcat's Recovery Flasher (RECOVERY folder) to PSP\GAME folder
4. Copy the firmware you want to update to PSP\GAME\RECOVERY folder
5. Finally run Hellcat's Recovery Flasher in XMB

You forgot 2.5 - Run ChickHEN.

Thanks I will try this later it wont let me update my battery is too low

If you're near a charger then you can plug it in and bypass the low battery warning.

I am having trouble installing ChickHEN it does not work

Yeah, one thing about ChickHEN is that it sometimes takes a few tries.

At least you've got it working now though.

I thought I had it but it still says firmware 5.03 is there an easier way
other than a pandora battery
