Gaming PSP shutting off

So, I was playing crisis core about five minutes ago, when my PSP inexplicably shut down. I had the charger in, and this happened to me last night. I think my PSP uses up more juice than it can charge.

Sounds more like you got a short or a battery issue to me. I doubt some flaw in the game could power it off completely.

I was thinking the same. Could it be because my charger has bad voltage?

i remember when i was playing a game with the charger plugged in if i move the lead my psp would go off.

i think i got a loose connection with the charginng input.for it too go off.

I might have the same problem then. The metal rod that goes into the charger is a little crooked.

I'm not sure, but I'm assuming that it would do that with other games. I think it might've happened with GoW: COO.

take a look at your battery, look for any lumps, sounds like the battery shorted, i had that happen to my gba

Does it happen as well when you play with the charger plugged, but no battery inserted? You should test that, you can narrow down the suspects, at least.
