Gaming PSP releases for 2012

The PSP does have some good games like Birth by Sleep and Crisis Core.

Seriously why do people use CC and BBC as what they regard as the creme de le creme of the PSP? Honestly CC was horrid and I like FF VII.
I just wanted to quote this so people will read it again.

But seriously. Those game may be popular but they are far from being the PSPs better games.

Wasn't this game released... ages ago?

Ah, was it [EUR] only?

I think it was a EUR only release. I checked with gamepro, I think, and they said it was suppose to come to NA this year. I'm trying to find another website that confirms this though. The best confirmation I could get is a lack of product on amazon. :/

I just got Trails in the Sky in the mail today! The little bit that I've played so far has been really good.

Got all my games in the mail two days ago. Trails in the Sky, Ys I & II Chronicles, Persona, FF1, FF2, and FF4 The Complete Collection. All of them are very good :) I already beat Ys 1. The battle system was really fun. Very simple but very fun. I can just tell that Trails in the Sky and Persona are gonna be great story wise. I feel stupid now for insulting the PSP game library >.

No, I've had a PSP. Being the Kingdom Hearts fan that I am, I bought one just for Birth by Sleep. I always figured that there would be other games that I would want but I never saw any.

Ah okay. I used to be a nintendo fanboy until I got bored with the DS and 3DS (no fun JRPGs to play) so I bought a PSP (impulsive buy) and its been a great console that I was happy to spend money on.

Anyway I hope you do try some of the new games released this year (Nendoroid Generations is pretty good)

I don't speak a lick of Japanese, unfortunately. As for the 3DS, I heard Tales of the Abyss is pretty good. I was considering getting that instead of FF1, FF2, and FF4 but decided otherwise.

Neither do I well not very well but I do manage quite well since there have been alot of Japan-only exclusive games for the DS and PSP. I heard it was good as well but too bad I don't have a Japanese 3DS otherwise i'll get it and to be honest the FF series is quite stale and boring compared to other turn based RPGs.

I'm pretty sure Tales of the Abyss was localized. I know it was to Europe and North America anyway. I'd really like to learn Japanese but I don't think I'd be able to stick with it if I started learning.

Yea that is my problem with it, I wanted it translated not localized. I tried but gave up after a while but i'm kinda picking up some things from playing games in Japanese over and over again.
