Gaming PSP releases for 2012

Really? if it "was" the best then there should be articles saying it is the best RPG on the PSP yet I can't find any on a Google search but I did find an article praising P3 though.

Yes but after you said that I started a bit in it and to me it feels alot like all the other turn based RPGs released in the west. P3 has shooting yourself in the head to summon demons, I don't see Trials having that.

Seriously? So just because they summon Personas, it makes it much better than Trails in the Sky? If you even played Trails in the Sky, you would now be saying that it's better than Persona Portable 3.

Somehow you don't realise that people have different tastes and just because you like a certain game doesn't mean its better. So what if someone likes persona over trails in the sky its a matter of taste and to be fair the undub if trials is what makes it a great game not saying persona 3 sucks but the dubbing did make it suck.

What you say is right but just like what prowler said, you can't judge a game from only playing it "a bit".

Especially an RPG, and then have the nerve to say its not a good game compared to one you actually put time into. That's how people label you a fanboy and not take your arguments seriously.

You can because first impressions are very important when playing a game and its usually in that first few minutes that determines if you want to continue playing or not. i'm sure he enjoyed trials but still prefer persona more because it suited his taste.

Really? i'm being kept busy with alot of the Japanese exclusives lately for the psp, the only other thing i play is Cathrine undub on my ps3. i'm looking forward to some of the games listed on the op actually.

Which one? I googled it and there are a bunch. I would guess just start with this? And is there an English version? I can only find Japanese trailers.

Also, Persona seems interesting. Everyone is saying Persona 3 is good but I guess I should probably start on the first one. I've been holding out on spending any money in case I want to buy a Vita but there doesn't seem to be too many games for the Vita right now. I would love to expand my PSP game collection if I knew of some good games.

Well for VC there's a possible fanslation in the works right now. Whether it'll actually be done, or done well...I have no idea, but meh at least a team is trying instead of waiting for Sega to do nothing.

Fanslations almost never pan out. Most of them end up trolling the users. Sega and fanslations can go die in a snake pit.

I would try YS 7. I enjoyed it the most out of all of them.

I would just start on persona 3 and 4. Since persona 3 is out on psp I would try it. Order doesn't really matter tbh.

could you label your game list by Japan releases and NA releases. Your 2nd list labels it as NA release, but your first list it isn't clear if it's NA or JP or a combination of both. Also add this to your NA release

Trails in the Sky Limited Edition
Persona (the first one)
Final Fantasy
Final Fantasy II
Final Fantasy IV The Complete Collection

And while my dad is traveling this week he's going to pick up Ys I & II Chronicles Limited Edition. I wasn't going to get FF4 The Complete Collection but FF and FF2 were lower priced on Amazon than I thought and it gave me the option to buy all three of them together so I did. Suddenly my PSP game collection grew from 3 games to 9

I can't really see how Ys could be a product of "KH and LOZ" when it came out like twenty years before Kingdom Hearts.

Unless it's like that Futurama episode where Fry goes back in time and has sex with his grandma so he becomes his own grandpa. Except this is with Ys and Kingdom Hearts. Or something.

Also, you can say whatever you want but that doesn't mean it's right. I can say that the Earth is flat and that the internet is indeed just a series of sewer pipes but that doesn't make it true.
