Hardware PSP not charging

Hi there.


I own a PSP 3004 which doesn't seem to charge at all. Ordered a psp charger off AliExpress for cheap because I didn't have one but apparently it isn't charging my device.
I swapped the charging port because well the old one was kinda loose and had a bent pin. But no luck with the new charging port either.
It just doesn't charge the damn thing.
Orange light shows up the device can be powered on but as soon as I yank or unplug the charging cable it goes blank ant shuts itself down
Left it overnight still didn't charge.
Tried to connect both through USB and wall charging but doesn't work either.
I don't know what to do
I'm out of options.

Oh, one more thing
When the psp is plugged in the battery icon disappears and re-appears but the battery bars don't move like they normally should.

There is a tiny,little "Leeway" between the PSP Batterie Housing and the Battery itself.
Sometime I put a little Piece of Paper into the "Void"



When I pull it in/out,it works again.

You will find Sources that means the Battery is the Issue.
Re-Seating maybe helps in some Cases but most of them said to replace the Batterie.

I concur. It does sound like the battery needs replaced or at least reseated.

The problem was that you used AliExpress; get a refurbished one from Amazon. I bought mine from Amazon for $60.
